Offer your customers a globally recognized and trusted payment option by integrating PayPal with your iSales AI Chatbot. This section explains how to connect PayPal primarily through the use of custom payment links, allowing your bot to direct users to a secure PayPal checkout.

PayPal Integration Status:

  • PayPal Status: (e.g., 🟡 Off) – This indicator shows whether PayPal payment processing is currently enabled or disabled for your AI chatbot.

Core PayPal Connection Setting:

The primary method for integrating PayPal with your iSales AI Chatbot is via:

  • Custom Payment Link: (e.g., Not set)
    • What it is: A unique, shareable URL generated from your PayPal business account that directs customers to a PayPal checkout page. This link can be for a specific product, service, or a general payment request.
    • How to create it:
      1. Log in to your PayPal business account.
      2. Navigate to the section for creating payment buttons or payment links (often found under “Pay & Get Paid,” “Sell on Social,” “PayPal Buttons,” or a dedicated “Links” section, depending on your PayPal dashboard version).
      3. Follow PayPal’s prompts to create a new payment link. You can typically customize:
        • Item name or description.
        • Price and currency.
        • Options for quantity, shipping, and tax if applicable.
      4. Once created, PayPal will provide you with a shareable link. Copy this link.
    • Use Case: This method is ideal for fixed-price items, services, or when you want to provide a direct and simple checkout experience through PayPal. Your AI bot can be instructed to provide this link to users at the point of purchase.

Managing Your PayPal Integration:

The interface provides the following options to configure PayPal:

  • 🔗 Update Payment Link (Button):
    • Click this button to enter or update the Custom Payment Link you copied from your PayPal business account. This is the link your bot will use to direct users for payment.
  • ——| PayPal Processing |——
    • 🟢 Enable / Disable (Toggle Buttons):
      • Enable: Activates PayPal as a payment option for your bot. When a user is ready to pay via PayPal, the bot will use the configured payment link.
      • Disable: (Shown as selected with a checkmark in the example screenshot) Deactivates PayPal. The bot will no longer offer PayPal as a payment method or use the payment link.
  • ↩️ Back (Button):
    • Returns you to the main “Payment Processing for AI Bot” menu.
